Roger Paul Cyr, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Greenwood Center in Warwick, surrounded by family. He was the beloved husband of Diane T. (Peltier) Cyr for 52 years. Roger is remembered for his kind spirit and dedication to his family. An online guestbook is available for service details and condolences through the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home’s website. Bernadette Patricia Warwick
Bernadette Patricia (Basius) Warwick, 91, passed away on April 18, 2025. Originally hailing from Jamaica Plain, she lived in Weymouth, where she raised her family in South Boston before moving to Stoughton. Bernadette was a graduate of Girls Latin School and Boston State College and had a successful career as a vice president at Tremont Credit Union before her retirement.
An avid traveler, Bernadette visited several countries, including Egypt and China. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she enjoyed singing with her church choir and indulging in her love of reading, particularly mystery and historical fiction. Bernadette was the wife of the late William Warwick, Jr., and is survived by her children: William F. Warwick (Emma), Michael W. Warwick, Sr. (Katie), Peter S. Warwick (Jane), Paul J. Warwick (Lori), and Mary B. Warwick. She was also a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 2, 2025, from 9-10 AM at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Jerome Church at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stand Up To Cancer.
Linda Darnell Warwick
Linda Darnell Warwick, age 80, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, in Vidor, Texas. Originally from Sulphur, Oklahoma, Linda was raised in Vidor and spent many years in Brookeland, Texas. She was a devoted homemaker, known for her love of sewing, cooking, and caring for her dogs.
Linda is survived by her children: Russell Warwick (Rene), Gwendolyn Vercher Warwick, and Robbie Warwick (Joy). She is also survived by her siblings Patricia Powell and Sonny Nix, as well as ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her family and friends will remember her fondly. A memorial gathering is scheduled for Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Russell’s House in Vidor, TX, starting at 1:00 PM.
