Nancy Ann (Green) Clare, aged 86, passed away on August 28, 2025. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert Francis Clare and is survived by her family and friends who cherish her memory. Born in Providence, Nancy was the daughter of the late Henry and Agnes (Gilzinis) Green. Her visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, located at 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Following the visitation, a memorial service for Nancy will be held at 1:30 PM at Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery in North Kingstown. Bernadette Patricia Warwick Remembered for Her Contributions
Bernadette Patricia (Basius) Warwick passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 91. Originally from Jamaica Plain, she was a graduate of the Girls Latin School and Boston State College. Bernadette raised her family in South Boston before relocating to Stoughton, where she enjoyed traveling to countries such as Egypt and China. She served as the vice president of Tremont Credit Union before her retirement.
Bernadette was married to the late William Warwick, Jr. and is survived by her five children: William F. Warwick (Emma) of Virginia Beach, VA; Michael W. Warwick, Sr (Katie) of Garden City, MI; Peter S. Warwick (Jane) of Weymouth, MA; Paul J. Warwick (Lori) of Orlando, FL; and Mary B. Warwick of Newmarket, NH. She is also survived by one sister, Kathryn MacGillvary of Charleston, SC, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. To honor Bernadette’s memory, donations can be made to StandUp2 Cancer instead of sending flowers. Her visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home in North Weymouth, followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Jerome Church at 10:30 AM.
Linda Darnell Warwick’s Legacy Lives On
Linda Darnell Warwick, aged 80, passed away on June 30, 2025, in Vidor, Texas. A native of Sulphur, Oklahoma, Linda grew up in Vidor and spent many years as a resident of Brookeland, Texas. She was a devoted homemaker, fondly remembered for her skills in sewing and cooking, as well as her love for her dogs.
Linda is survived by her children, including Russell Warwick and his wife Rene of Vidor, TX; Gwendolyn Vercher Warwick of Destin, FL; and Robbie Warwick and his wife Joy of Vidor, TX. Her family also includes siblings Patricia Powell of Kirbyville, TX, and Sonny Nix of Roganville, TX, along with ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Those who knew Linda will deeply miss her presence in their lives.
