Westborough, MA – The community is in mourning following the passing of two beloved residents, Margery Donlan and Nancy Uhlman, both of whom contributed significantly to the fabric of Westborough life.

Margery Donlan, aged 93, died peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025. Margery was born to the late Lawrence and Marion (Angell) Greene and spent her childhood on a family farm in Cranston, Rhode Island. A devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her daughters Susan Kenny of Newport, RI, and Jill Hillier of Eastham, MA. Her grandchildren include Leigh Revens, Marcie Revens, and Emily Gustafson, along with great-grandson Tage. Margery was preceded in death by her husband Robert Donlan in 2005.

Margery was known for her strong-willed nature and independence, attributes that allowed her to navigate challenges with grace throughout her life. She was dedicated to her family, encouraging her daughters to explore music, the arts, and travel.

Her funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, with visitation starting at 9:30 A.M. preceding the service. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Westborough. In honor of Margery’s memory, donations can be made to the Salvation Army or the Jimmy Fund.

Nancy L. Uhlman, aged 88, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. Nancy was the wife of the late Parker Uhlman, who passed away in 2018, and was born in Worcester, MA, to Edwin and Marjorie (Foster) Heckman. Raised in Westborough, she graduated from Westborough High School and later Becker College as a medical secretary.

She dedicated the majority of her life to raising her family while also working as a radiology secretary at Southborough Medical Group before her retirement. Nancy held family time in high regard, often cherishing trips to York Beach and Martha’s Vineyard. She was also known for her talent in knitting.

Nancy leaves behind three children: Dennis Uhlman of Lexington, SC, Brenda Malone of Westborough, and Douglas Uhlman of Westborough. She was also the proud grandmother of four: Dennis, Benjamin, Julianne, and Jacob Uhlman, and had three great-grandchildren: Ruth Uhlman, Parker Uhlman, and Haley Daniels. She was predeceased by her grandson Matthew Malone and brother Edwin Heckman.

Calling hours for Nancy will be held on Tuesday, September 16, from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home. Her funeral service and burial at Pine Grove Cemetery will take place privately with family. In memory of her late grandson, donations can be made to The Herren Project.

The passing of Margery Donlan and Nancy Uhlman leaves a significant void in the Westborough community. Their dedication to family and their contributions to local life will be remembered fondly by those who knew them.
