Mary K. Viveiros, 80, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Viveiros. The funeral service for Mary will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10 AM at Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, located at 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Kevin Church at 11 AM.

George was preceded in death by his wife Martha and their son Kevin, leaving behind a tight-knit family that includes numerous nieces and nephews, his stepson Wrenn Cox and his daughter-in-law Sarah Warwick. Grandsons Liam and Ryan Warwick are also among his survivors, as well as his sister, Margaret Stanley.

Throughout his life, George demonstrated a commitment to his Christian faith and was well-regarded in his church community at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church. His neighbors and friends remember him as a kind and caring individual, traits he carried with him throughout his life. He served in the Air Force after graduating from Lumberton High School in 1954, including a tour of duty in Korea. Later, he graduated from Western Carolina University and dedicated most of his career to working as a manager in the insurance industry, retiring from Penn National. In 2000, George relocated to Wilmington, where he continued to build connections and friendships.

Visitation for George will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. A Christian funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church, located at 5524 Myrtle Grove Rd., Wilmington, NC 28409. Guests are encouraged to leave condolences in the guestbook as a way to celebrate George’s life and honor his memory.
