Catherine was born in Cumberland, the daughter of the late John and Christine (Williams) Marshall. She attended Cumberland High School and later pursued further education at Katherine Gibbs. Her professional career included working as an administrative assistant at Rumford Steel, from which she retired.
Throughout her life, Catherine was surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by her son Frank Bucacci, Jr., and four brothers: John, Louis, Edward, and Joseph Marshall. She is survived by her two sons, Philip Bucacci, who resides in Cranston with his wife Roxanne, and Thomas Bucacci, along with his wife Leanne, who lives in Lincoln. Additionally, Catherine is survived by her sister, Christina LeMay of Cumberland, and five grandchildren: Charles, Kate-Lynn, Caroline, Philip, and David.
A funeral service for Catherine is scheduled for Thursday, October 16, 2025, beginning at 7:30 AM from Bellows Funeral Chapel. Following the service, a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9:30 AM at Saint Jude Church, located at 301 Front Street, Lincoln. The burial will be a private affair. Prior to the service, there will be a period of visitation from 7:30 to 9:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to the Tomorrow Fund, a charitable organization focused on aiding children with cancer and their families, through its website at www.tomorrowfund.org.
