Community to Honor Annette Seibert at Venice Golf and Country Club Memorial Garden

Venice, Florida, is about to come together in loving memory of a truly remarkable individual, Annette Seibert. This caring community has planned a special gathering for friends and family to celebrate Annette’s life and her significant contributions to the area. Annette passed away on February 1, 2026, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of service.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, to her parents, Amelia and John Motta, Annette was a vibrant spirit who spent much of her life in Rhode Island and the picturesque region of Cape Cod. It wasn’t until she settled in Venice that she truly made her mark, both professionally and personally. Renowned for her exceptional skills as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager, Annette was a beacon of organization and calm in any environment she graced.

A Heart for the Community

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Annette was a fierce advocate for her community. She dedicated her time and energy, especially towards the efforts of SPARCC (Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center). Her commitment to helping others and working towards a safer community was evident to everyone who knew her. Friends and colleagues witnessed her passion firsthand, and it inspired many to support the causes she championed.

Survived by her loving husband, Paul Seibert, as well as her sister Sandra Motta and her niece, Amy Wilmot, along with Amy’s husband, Kenneth, Annette leaves a family that remembers her for her warmth and love. Sadly, she also lost her first husband, Anthony Persechino, who predeceased her.

A Gathering of Remembrance

In keeping with Annette’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services held in Florida. Instead, the community is invited to gather for a moment of peace and reflection at the Venice Golf and Country Club Memorial Garden on March 11, 2026, at 5:30 PM. This evening promises to be a heartfelt occasion, allowing everyone who loved and respected Annette to come together and share their stories and memories.

In recognition of Annette’s deep connection to her roots, a Memorial Mass will also take place in Warwick, Rhode Island, with specific details regarding the location and date still to be confirmed. This will allow friends and family from her original hometown to honor her memory in a way that resonates deeply with the life she cherished.

Honoring a Legacy of Compassion

The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Annette’s memory to SPARCC. Contributions can be sent to their address located at 2139 Main Street, Sarasota, FL 34237. Supporting this noble organization reflects the passion Annette held for her community and will help continue her legacy of kindness and advocacy.

As we prepare for this gathering, the legacy of Annette Seibert lives on in the hearts of those she touched. Her dedication to her profession, advocacy for her community, and love for her family are reminders of the impact one person can have in the world. Join us in celebrating her life, sharing our stories, and supporting the continued work that was so close to her heart.
