Meal delivery service in a modern kitchen

News Summary

Feast & Fettle, a premium meal delivery service from East Providence, announces its acquisition of Ipsa Provisions as part of its strategic expansion in lower Manhattan. This move aims to enhance service delivery and cater to busy families with fresh, chef-prepared meals. As the meal delivery sector grows towards $24 billion by 2031, this acquisition reflects Feast & Fettle’s commitment to quality and convenience, positioning them well in the competitive market.

New York City – Feast & Fettle, a premium meal delivery service from East Providence, Rhode Island, has announced its acquisition of New York-based Ipsa Provisions. This strategic move is part of Feast & Fettle’s broader initiative to expand its presence in lower Manhattan, targeting neighborhoods such as Battery Park, Tribeca, and the Financial District. The company’s CEO, Carlos Ventura, highlighted the organization’s commitment to delivering quality meals to busy families as a central part of this expansion.

While the terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed, this marks Feast & Fettle’s fourth acquisition in four years, underscoring the company’s aggressive growth strategy in the meal delivery market across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the New York metropolitan area. The prepared meal delivery sector is seeing rapid growth, projected to reach $24 billion by 2031, which creates significant opportunities for companies like Feast & Fettle.

Customers from Ipsa Provisions will be transitioned to Feast & Fettle’s service, allowing them access to fresh, chef-prepared meals delivered directly to their doorsteps. This transition aims to enhance customer experience by simplifying meal preparation and catering to the needs of families, particularly those with demanding schedules.

Feast & Fettle operates a commercial kitchen and fulfillment center located in Port Chester, New York, enabling efficient meal delivery across the Northeast. The company has rapidly grown since its inception in 2016, expanding its client base from just 27 to approximately 10,000 members across multiple states. Currently, Feast & Fettle employs around 250 staff members and manages a fleet of over 60 delivery vans.

Ventura, who has firsthand experience working in the Financial District, explained that the service is designed to help families navigate the challenges of meal preparation, striving to ease the burden particularly for mothers managing various responsibilities throughout the day. The acquisition of Ipsa Provisions aligns with this goal.

Jeroen Spitaels, the CEO of Ipsa Provisions, expressed pride in the acquisition process, emphasizing confidence that Feast & Fettle will uphold Ipsa’s legacy of quality and customer care. This collaboration not only signifies a merging of services but also a promise to maintain high standards in meal preparation and delivery.

As part of its growth strategy, Feast & Fettle has previously announced plans to expand into Brooklyn in January 2025, following its acquisition of WECO Hospitality. The steady growth demonstrated by Feast & Fettle underlines a strong demand for meal delivery services as consumers increasingly seek convenient solutions that don’t compromise on quality.

The acquisition of Ipsa Provisions by Feast & Fettle reflects a growing trend in the prepared meal delivery market, where convenience, quality, and personalized service are meeting rising consumer expectations. As more families turn to meal delivery options to simplify their busy lives, Feast & Fettle’s expansion into lower Manhattan positions it well to capture a substantial share of this evolving market.
