Well, it just wrapped up at the Broadmoor Country Club in Indianapolis, Indiana, where the Gannon men’s golf team wrapped up an impressive campaign, finishing in a tie for fourth place among 14 competing teams. This year, they posted a final score of -6 under par, making quite the statement on the green.
The Competition: Who Was on Top?
The competition was stiff, as expected. Leading the pack was Grand Valley State with a jaw-dropping score of -51, followed by Hillsdale at -28, and McKendree at -8. Gannon shared the spotlight in a tie for fourth place with Ferris State, both teams at -6. This shows just how tough the competition was, but Gannon held their ground and played valiantly!

Next up was Giovanni Delorenzi from Reggio Emilia, Italy, finishing in 29th place with a score of +1. Quite a noteworthy achievement considering he had a strong finish! Then there was Kyle Westfall representing Erie, PA, who played solidly, ending up with a score of +5 and tying for 46th place. He really stepped it up in the final round with a score of +1.
Last but not least, we had Dylan Flinchbaugh from Saegertown, PA, competing individually with a score of +6, and Jacob Wolak from Slippery Rock, PA who finished at +9. While Jacob might not have had the round he hoped for, every shot counts, and it’s all about experience!
