Lamacchia Realty has officially opened its first office in Rhode Island following the acquisition of Tirrell Realty. The new office is located in East Providence, positioning Lamacchia to enhance its presence in the thriving Providence-area housing market. This acquisition represents Lamacchia Realty’s 11th expansion in the New England region within the past two years.
Tirrell Realty has been a significant player in the local real estate scene for almost two decades. Founded in 2005 by Phil Tirrell, the brokerage was formerly affiliated with the Weichert franchise system and has built a strong reputation serving the greater Providence area, East Bay markets, and the south coast of Massachusetts. Phil Tirrell, who boasts over 40 years of experience in the real estate sectors of both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, will retain a leadership role at the new Lamacchia Realty office and will continue to assist clients in buying and selling homes.
The team from Tirrell Realty will be joining Lamacchia Realty as part of the transition, with 20 agents making the switch. Notable members from the Tirrell team include Bill Tirrell, Larry McNulty, Luci Stoddard, Rose Pereira, and administrative assistant Delia Correia. Additional agents such as Abe Sheriff, AJ Costa, Donna Proulx Ainsworth, Doug Caito, Eli Salit, Jeff Searle, Jenna Costa, Jennifer Teeden-Feighery, Joanne Perella, Joe Goncalo, Leah Stoddard, Mary McKenna, Paul Faella, Becky Graham, and Stacey Messier are also joining the firm.
The newly acquired office will operate under the Lamacchia Realty name and current agents will experience no disruption in their operations. Lamacchia Realty’s Chief Operating Officer, Jackie Louh, expressed enthusiasm regarding the integration of Tirrell Realty into their organization, highlighting the commitment to enhancing services in the region.
Lamacchia Realty has seen a robust growth trajectory since its inception. The brokerage has previously acquired offices in a range of Massachusetts cities, including Newburyport, Amesbury, Shrewsbury, and Springfield. Their strategic expansion into Rhode Island underscores their goal to continue broadening their footprint in southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, aiming to serve an increasing number of clients in the real estate sector.
The acquisition comes at a time when the housing market in Providence and surrounding areas is showing signs of growth and interest. With a combination of established local expertise through Tirrell Realty and Lamacchia’s proven track record of successful acquisitions, the new office aims to capitalize on this upward trend. As housing demand remains strong and the real estate market evolves, Lamacchia Realty is positioned to offer enhanced services and resources to its clients.
The addition of the East Providence location solidifies Lamacchia’s goal to help more home buyers and sellers navigate the complexities of the real estate market effectively. This expansion not only aims to help current agents but also seeks to attract new talent in the region as Lamacchia Realty’s vision for growth continues to unfold.
