(Lovitt) Mandell, with whom he shared 68 years of marriage. Leonard is remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, and veteran.
Leonard was born in Providence and had a diverse career as a mason and jewelry manufacturer, contributing to his community throughout his life. He was a caring father to Jane Mandell of Warwick and a proud grandfather to Evan Wallick, Rebecca Sady, and Joshua Sady. In addition to his love for family, Leonard was predeceased by his parents, wife, siblings Harold Mandell and Estelle Weiner, and his daughter, Lynn Mandell Sady.

Born to Bertha and Samuel Menin in the Strawberry Mansion area of Philadelphia, Rhea spent her life in the city, only diverging for winter residences in Florida and summer weekends in Ventnor, New Jersey.
Rhea’s academic achievements included graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in American Civilization, shortly before marrying Dr. Morton Mandell. After marriage, she furthered her education, earning a master’s degree in Community Counseling from Villanova University, and went on to counsel adult students at the University of Pennsylvania.
An advocate for education, Rhea was instrumental in running the Bread Upon the Waters scholarship fund, which helped many women pursue higher education opportunities. She was a devoted mother, raising three children—Robin Green (David), Jonathan Mandell (Monica), and Andrew Mandell (Barbara). Her legacy includes seven grandchildren: Ian Mandell (Ariel), Andrea Boyer (Austin), Corey Green, Jacob Mandell, Olivia Mandell, Reid Mandell, and Arden Mandell, as well as a great-grandchild, Winston Boyer.
Involved in her community, Rhea took on various leadership roles in charitable organizations. She chaired the Harvest Ball for Albert Einstein Hospital and served on the board of the Philadelphia Opera Company, as well as the Bread Upon the Waters Scholarship fund. Rhea was a trustee of the National Museum of American Jewish History and actively participated in Congregation Adath Israel in Merion, earning a reputation for her kindness and commitment to family and friends.
