North Providence – Linda M. (Dubois) Tramontano, aged 83, passed away on October 21, 2025, at her home in North Providence, surrounded by family. Known affectionately as “Nana,” she left behind a legacy filled with love and laughter.

Born in Macon, Georgia, to Robert Dubois, Sr. and Madeline (Filippi) Dubois, both of whom predeceased her, Linda built her life in North Providence. She was particularly known for her vibrant personality, often teasing family members and sharing jokes while enjoying activities such as playing Keno and cheering for the Boston Red Sox.

With a career spanning decades in the restaurant industry, Linda spent over 25 years working at Antonio’s Restaurant, where she forged friendships that felt like family. Later in her career, she worked at GianFranco’s, where she continued to bring joy through laughter and stories shared with customers.

Linda is survived by her partner, Bill Cattles, and her three grandchildren: Renee Nixon (married to George), Ashley Lepore (partnered with Anthony Watt), and Matthew I. Lepore (married to Emily). In addition, she will be remembered by her five cherished great-grandchildren: Angelina Perry, Anthony Watt, Jr., Ava Watt, River Nixon, and Ian Nixon. Linda’s siblings, Victor Dubois and Gail Rickey, also survive her, along with several beloved relatives.

Despite the joy she brought to her family, Linda experienced the sorrow of losing loved ones, including her daughters Lori Ann Lepore and Lynn Lepore, as well as her brothers Robert Dubois, Jr. and Paulie Dubois.

Visitation for Linda M. Tramontano will occur on October 29, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Maceroni Funeral Home, located at 1381 Smith Street, North Providence. Her funeral service is set for October 30, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence. The burial will be private.

In honor of Linda’s memory, her family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in lieu of flowers.
