Lisa Carcieri has been elected as the new board chair of the Rhode Island Public Health Institute (RIPHI), succeeding Mark Tracy. Carcieri currently serves as the director of sales and marketing for the Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island and brings nearly 25 years of healthcare experience within the state to her new position. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island, and she is a graduate of Leadership Rhode Island. Additionally, Carcieri has recently earned an Executive Scholar Certificate from Kellogg Executive Education, enhancing her leadership credentials.
Her election comes alongside the addition of five new board members at RIPHI, reflecting the organization’s commitment to bolstering its governance and capabilities.
