Born in Providence as the daughter of Louis and Edna (Ondis) Iannuccilli, Norma lived a life full of love and service. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward L. Rodi, with whom she shared a 56-year marriage. The couple raised four children who survive her: Edward A. Rodi and his wife Cecelia (Cookie), Steven L. Rodi and his wife Elizabeth, Linda A. (Rodi) Hardiman and her husband Jeffrey, and Glenn J. Rodi and his companion Robin Glancy, all of whom reside in Cranston.

Norma’s family blossomed under her nurturing, and she was blessed with six grandchildren: Steven, Adam, and Eddie Rodi; Christiana (Rodi) Caprarelli; and Jack and Sarah Hardiman. Furthermore, she took joy in being a great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren: Vinny and Nico Caprarelli, Adam, and Matthew Rodi.

As a devoted member of St. Ann’s Church, Norma was a founding member of Holy Apostles Church in Cranston. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her daily devotional activities, including the recitation of her rosary and her many acts of service within her parish community. Norma’s contributions extended beyond her spiritual life; she was known for her delightful homemade meals, particularly her renowned meatballs and “gravy,” prepared with love for family gatherings.

Norma was not just a matriarch, but a beacon of kindness and hard work. Her contagious smile and positive presence made her a beloved figure among her family and friends alike. She instilled in her children and grandchildren the values of dedication, compassion, and community service, which they will carry on as a legacy in her honor.

In recognition of her life and faith, a funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, August 12, 2025, with a gathering for loved ones starting at 8:45 AM from Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at Holy Apostles Church, concluding with burial at St. Ann Cemetery. Family and friends wishing to pay their respects are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Holy Apostles Memorial Society, a tribute honoring Norma’s profound connection with her faith community. Her memory lives on in the hearts of all those she touched throughout her remarkable life.
