Following the accident, police closed off a portion of Mineral Spring Avenue heading toward Centredale and redirected traffic onto North Howard Avenue. Officers from the department’s accident reconstruction team conducted an investigation at the scene for about one hour.

At the time of the incident, weather conditions were reported to be partly cloudy, transitioning into cloudy skies. The temperature was recorded at a low of 62°F, with winds blowing from the south at a speed of 5 to 10 mph.
