Providence – The 12th Annual FRINGEPVD: The Providence Fringe Festival is set to take place from July 13 to July 26, 2025. This year, the festival includes over 70 performances, both in-person and online, showcasing the talents of more than 400 individual artists from various disciplines such as theatre, music, dance, multimedia, and performing arts.

The festival, presented by The Wilbury Theatre Group, will be held at over ten venues across the Valley Arts District. Some notable venues participating in the festival include 50 Sims, The Steel Yard, ALCO, Farm Fresh RI, LitArts RI, Teatro ECAS, The Providence Drum Troupe Clubhouse, and Wilbury Theatre Group. The addition of a new location on Atwells Avenue and an extra stage at 50 Sims adds to the festival’s scope.

This year’s festival shows a remarkable 40% increase in performances compared to previous years, making it a significant event on Providence’s cultural calendar. It will commence with the “Let’s Fringe!” Opening Night Party on July 13, running from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The event will feature food, drinks, and live music provided by the Rhode Island Ukulele Armada.

This gathering will celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act through the Accessibility is Beautiful Festival presented by R.A.M.P., and will include the Haus of Codec LGBTQQIA+ Resource Fair & Art Marketplace.

The festival will conclude with an annual Closing Party on July 26 at Buttonwoods Brewery from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM. This event will feature performances from festival artists and musicians, along with the 2025 FRINGEPVD Artist Award Ceremony.
