She was preceded in death by her husband, Carmine Sciacca, and is survived by her two sons: Elvio Sciacca, married to Lisa, and Frank Sciacca, married to Suzanne. She also took great joy in her four grandchildren, Monica McPhail, Jessica L. Sciacca, Michael Sciacca, and Angelica Sciacca, as well as her great-granddaughter, Jordan.
In addition to her immediate family, Tommasina was preceded in death by her parents, mother Ernestina and father Giuseppe, along with her sisters Evelina, Elia, Lina, and brother Amelio. She is survived by her brothers Luigi and Anthony.
Born on May 24, 1930, in Roccamonfina, Italy, Tommasina grew up in a close-knit community that emphasized strong family bonds, faith, and hard work. She later moved to the United States, where she established a warm and welcoming home filled with love and tradition. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. After the service, she will be laid to rest at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Cranston. Members of the community are invited to pay their respects during visiting hours on Friday from 4-7 PM.
