Scott R. Fournier, 65

Scott R. Fournier, who was 65 years old, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025. His final moments were spent surrounded by his loving wife and daughters, highlighting the close family bond he cherished throughout his life.

For those wishing to pay their respects, calling hours will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 3-6 p.m. at W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, located at 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside. Scott’s funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 9 a.m. in St. Matthew Trinity Lutheran Church, situated at 690 Newport Ave, Pawtucket. Richard Maxwell Longbottom, Jr., 72

Richard Maxwell Longbottom, Jr., aged 72, also passed away recently, on Sunday, February 9, 2025. He was a long-time resident of Seekonk and was surrounded by family at the time of his death. Richard is remembered as the devoted husband of Elizabeth Anne (Cuddy) Longbottom for an enduring 54 years.

Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Richard was the son of the late Richard Maxwell Longbottom and Leonora Gilda (Francesconi) Longbottom. He had a long and distinguished career as a Project Engineer with Altium Packaging and retired after 50 years of dedicated service.

On February 5, 2025, Richard received a lifetime achievement award in recognition of his longtime commitment to his profession. In addition to his career, Richard was passionate about motorcycles, engaging in motocross, and later enjoyed golfing. He is survived by his daughters Michele Longbottom-Lopes, Allison “Boo” Longbottom, and Chelsey Phillips, along with numerous other family members. A gathering to celebrate Richard’s life is planned for Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 1 p.m. at 253 N Wheaton Ave, Seekonk, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation or the Dana Farber Jimmy Fund.

Andrew P. Gagnon Jr., 88

Andrew P. Gagnon Jr., 88, peacefully passed away at home on June 11, 2025, surrounded by family. He was the beloved husband of Stephanie (Green) Gagnon and was born in Fall River, MA, to the late Andrew P. Gagnon Sr. and Ruth (Connery) Gagnon.

Andrew spent 65 years living in Seekonk and enjoyed summering on Cape Cod. His professional life included 40 years as a Control System Engineer for C.D.M. in Boston before he retired in 2006. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island and was a member of the Registered Engineers Association.

Beyond his career, Andrew had a passion for cars and wooden boats, as well as valuing family time on Cape Cod. He also proudly served in the Massachusetts National Guard. He is survived by his wife and family, including a son, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. His funeral service is set for Monday, June 23, 2025, at 6 p.m. at W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, with calling hours scheduled from 4-6 p.m. on the same day.

The Seekonk community feels the loss of these three remarkable individuals deeply. Their contributions to their families and the lives they touched will not be forgotten.
