Rhode Island is embarking on an ambitious project known as the “Smart Solar Highway,” aimed at transforming highway infrastructure into a source of renewable energy. Under the 2021 Act on Climate, Rhode Island is committed to achieving Net-Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 2050.
