Timothy was also a proud grandfather to his two grandchildren, Natalie Morrill and Owen Morrill, all residing in Marblehead, Massachusetts. He was previously mourning the loss of his son, Peter Woodward Collins.
Collins was born to parents John L. Collins and Mary Joan (Vogt) Collins, both of whom are now deceased. He is also remembered by his sister, Patricia April, who resides in Haines City, Florida. In addition to his immediate family, Timothy leaves behind numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins who cherished him dearly.
For many years, Collins had a successful career as an account executive in the computer component sales industry, until he retired to focus on his passions. Music was at the center of Timothy’s life; he was an accomplished musician skilled in playing acoustic, electric, and bass guitar. His enthusiasm for music extended beyond playing, as he was an avid audiophile, sharing insights and knowledge about various musical genres with friends and family.
In addition to his passion for music, Collins had diverse interests. He enjoyed organic gardening, golf, cooking for his loved ones, and photography. He was affectionately known as “Poppop” to his grandchildren, a title that reflected his deep affection and connection to the younger generation of his family.
A Celebration of Life Service for Timothy Collins is scheduled for Monday, September 22, 2025, at 4 p.m. at the North Beach Clubhouse, located at 79 Boston Neck Road in Narragansett, Rhode Island. The family has requested a private burial at Glenwood Cemetery, respecting Timothy’s wishes.
