Joseph Perry, a resident formerly of Airway Road in Warwick, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the age of 91. His life will be honored with a comittal service on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. The service will be held at the RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter, where attendees are invited to gather at the main entrance at 11:45 a.m. Additional information regarding Joseph Perry’s obituary can be found at carpenterjenks.com.
Mary Warwick Drummonds Remembered at 84
Mary Warwick Drummonds, aged 84, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. A devoted member of the Emory Pike American Christian Church, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Odra Drummonds, her parents, Tyler and Edna Warwick, and her brother, Dennis Warwick. She is survived by her son, Michael Duncan, daughter Sherry Cunningham and son-in-law Greg, step-daughter Dixie (Bob) Drummonds Ross, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family has expressed gratitude to the staff at Windsor Ridge Assisted Living for their care of Mary.
In remembrance of Mary, the family requests that donations be made to Emory Pike American Christian Church instead of sending flowers. Friends may visit the family on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m., led by Rev. Kevin Roberts, Rev. Mike Atkins, and Rev. Tyler Cunningham. Family and friends are to meet at Greenwood Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, for an 11:00 a.m. interment.
Patricia C. Neri, Beloved Mother and Grandmother
Patricia C. (Bremner) Neri passed away on September 2, 2025. She was the wife of Michael J. Neri and the mother of William A. Neri and Michael J. Neri Jr. Patricia was also a proud grandmother to Jack, Luke, Grace, and Michael III, and she leaves behind her brother, Alexander H. Bremner. A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia C. Neri will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 10 a.m. at St. Timothy Church, located on Warwick Avenue.
Patricia will be laid to rest in the family lot at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. Visitation for Patricia is scheduled for Monday, September 8, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. at Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home on Warwick Avenue.
